Frequently Asked Questions:  General

 
 

Question: We would like numbers from the U.S., Germany and the U.K. We may want to take these numbers elsewhere. Can we do that?

Answer: Local Number Portability is available in the United States and the United Kingdom. If your service provider in other countries is able to port the number to their own network, we will not stop you from porting them away from us.


Question: Will there be a per min charge on these numbers?
Answer: No. But toll free numbers incur a 3 cents per min. fee.


Question: We need an Auto Attendant to answer the calls localized in U.S., British English, and German. Can we do that?

Answer: You can add up to 50 IVR or Auto Attendants in the system by yourself. There is no fee for this.

Question: We need our calls to be answered over broadband for our agents/reps. Can we make the phone numbers ring on IP Phones or IP Soft Phones?

Answer: Yes, this is a standard feature of IP PABX at no extra charge. Use a Cisco IP phone or a ATA device, or a soft phone like xpro or SJ Phone.

Question: What hardware phones do you support?

Answer: We have a built in auto provisioning function. It provisions or programs the device remotely at any location over the Internet. These devices currently include
Cisco ATA 186
Linksys PAP 2
Super Phone 8000

We will add more devices as a standard offering soon.



Question: We need to be able to forward the call to a PSTN number if the user is off line on SIP.

Answer: Again, it's a standard feature IP PABX. You will be charged the same per min fees as normal for this.

Question: We would like our voice mail to come to our email.
Answer: A standard feature, so the user can listen to voice mail on the web site or receive it via email or both.

Question: We want to restrict some users' phone call rights.
Answer: You can allocate a $ amount to each user, from your master balance.


Question: What is an "extension" - is it an external landline number that can be forwarded from incoming calls to my PBX, or would it also include a soft phone?

Answer: Our extension is a soft phone or a SIP account, which can also be forwarded to a land line if needed. The IP-PABX customer is charged for the forwarding according to the rates on the web site.


Do you charge for incoming international calls?
Answer: No, All incoming calls are FREE unless, the calls are coming into a Toll Free number or a DID with a per min. You will be notified of this before you buy.

Can I demo the system?
Answer: Yes, you can from www.ip-pabx.com/login  click on login to demo account.

Question: Can you provide international phone numbers on IP–PABX Service?
Answer: Yes, we can provide numbers from 20+ Countries on IP-PABX Service.

Question: I Need an Auto Dialer Service.
Answer:
Yes, it is an add-on feature. It can dial numbers for you and pass them to the agents as you need them. The setup fee for Auto Dialer is $1500 and $50 per extension who will use it.

Question: Do You offer API for Customer integration with our own software?
Answer: Yes. We offer API for integration service. Each Customer requirement is different, so email us yours for a quote.

Question: What do I pay each month?
Answer: Select the rates from www.ip-pabx.com/rates/  page

Question: Your website shows a setup charge of $2500. This is a surprise to us because it is clearly uncompetitive - it is multiple of even the market-leading solution from Five9.

Answer: Yes, but Five9 has a higher monthly fee and does not offer a PBX system with DID integration and unlimited IVR's. IP-PABX offers all this.

Question: What is the typical cost for a phone line for incoming Only?

Answer: 15$ per month.
 

Question: What is the price of the Incoming Phone Lines?

Answer:
US Phone Lines are $15 a month, per channel.
UK Phone Lines are $15 a month, per channel.
Channels mean number of simultaneous phone calls t the phone line.
